If you like to make friends then you should read this book . The book is about Marvin Redpost who is a third grader who befriends Joe Normal who is from Chicago . When Joe comes to Marvin ' s school everyone makes fun of him except Marvin . He taught Joe how to play wall ball .Nick who is the best at wall ball gets beaten by Joe . Nick and Stuart who are Marvin 's friends did not invite Joe to their house because they thought that Joe was weird but Marvin invited him . When they went to Marvin 's house he introduced his sister Linzy . Joe also taught Marvin's family how to play wizzle-fish . The whole family enjoyed playing it . When his parents asked Joe if they can talk to his parents he says they are in a secret meeting with the president . Marvin is kind and intelligent . Nick and Stuart are prideful . Jacob Marvin 's older brother and his friend Nate are cool and nice . I like the part where Joe 's family 's visit him in their limousine filled with jello .
