This book is about Tom who wants to rescue the good beasts of Avantia from Malvel and his beasts. He is accompanied by his horse Storm, his friend Elenna and her wolf Silver. They have already beaten two of Malvel's beasts. They are suddenly attacked by Jent a bounty hunter and his crew. They told them that Malvel had made posters of Tom and Elenna and who ever catches them is rewarded with money. Jent takes Elenna and leaves Tom, Storm and Silver to his men but Tom easily defeated them because of the superhuman powers given to him by the beasts of Avantia and Malvel's beasts. Tom followed Jent while riding on Storm and Silver by his side They find Elenna and another girl named Odora about and people are throwing rocks on them. He saves them and Odora tells them she was attacked by Narga one Malvel's beasts and it ate her brother.
My favorite part is when Tom and Elenna defeat Narga and saves Sepron . Tom notices a jewel on one of Narga's fangs. He finds out it gives him good memory.
