A Room Of One's Own

By Virginia Woolf

Reviews for: A Room Of One's Own

5 "Lock up your libraries if you like; but there is no gate, no lock, no bolt that you can set up

This book is basically an intellectual essay based on the author's two lectures that she had given. In this book, Woolf talks about women artists and women in general and how they must have money and a room of one's own if they want to write a book. However this book is more than that and engages women to think and act freely and that they can be more than their male counterparts. This book gets a solid 5 star rating from me and its definitely worth your time- this is such a groundbreaking book filled with Woolf's urge of feminism and intricate artisty which is definitely worth a read.
