5 If you want to know how Roald Dahl's childhood was this is the right book for you

This book is about Roald Dahl's life & what problems he faced. The book starts off with how Roald Dahl's father got married. Roald Dalh's father had two kids from his first marriage. He married again & then Roald Dahl was born. Roald Dahl had six siblings and one of them died. Later his father also died and they went to their hometown, Norway. Then they moved to Britain when he was 13 years old. He then adopted the hobby of photographing. Later he joined the army.

My favourite part of the story is when Roald Dahl & his friends had enough of the arrogance of the sweet seller, an old lady. During school , Roald Dahl & his friends found a dead rat in the hole where they used to keep the treasures & secret things they found. They decided to keep it in the Gobstoppers tin while Thwaites one of Roald Dahl's friends distracted the sweet seller.

This book is hilarious & interesting as it showed me how life then used to be.
